Our company was founded by my father in 1970 in Westmoreland Street and we moved here to our present location in 1982 from where we started to build a substantial business travel and holiday business company.
In 1989 my wife Colette and I bought the business and began the long process of achieving the goal of a small specialist travel company dedicated to providing excellence in holiday and travel management services. There followed many years of exciting growth especially in corporate travel with a professional focus on travel management, creative incentive travel and meetings & conference management.
Our goal is to become the best, most creative and committed DMC in Ireland to the MICE and specialist tour operator sector. There followed many years of continued growth and development as we honed our skills and found successful solutions in Ireland for discerning clients and challenges from around the world.

A business graduate from CIT Ireland Mike has spent his entire career working in the entertainment and hospitality industry in the UK, US and almost 30 years in Wallace Travel Group in Ireland. His passion for the industry, creativity and strong customer focus has seen Mike deliver World Class large scale meetings & conference solutions and incentive travel both in Ireland and Worldwide. He is a former board member of the Irish Tour Operators Association and has served on various Irish Tourism Bodies over his career. When he’s not out on the roads training for his next marathon you’ll find him cheering on his other great passion in life, the famous Kilkenny Hurling Team “ C’mon the Cat “. Oh and keep him away from the guitar or he’ll have you up all night singing!!!
Programme Development Manager
Roisín joined Wallace Travel Group in 2013. Rioisín has over 15 years experience working in tourism in Ireland. Her experience ranges from a worldwide hotel chain, a global DMC and a multi-award convention centre. Roisín brings a world of varied industry experience which is invaluable to her role in Wallace Travel Group, in understanding all of our client and suppliers needs & challenges.
Following over 2 years in sales with Wallace Travel Group, Roisín moved into a new role within the company- Programme Development Manager, where a major part of Roisín's role is to develop new products to entice our clients to come to Ireland and is also responsible for site inspections, educational visits and for creating programmes to wow our clients to choose Ireland.
When Roisín’s not on weekends away in Ireland, exploring our wonderful island, Roisín loves nothing more than enjoying quality time with her family and is partial to netflix!
Head of Sales, UK and Northern Europe
Lydia joined the team in 2016 in the role of Head of Sales for the UK and Northern European markets. Lydia has a background in both sales and marketing in a number of areas of Dublin tourism; having worked in tourist offices and marketing departments for key attractions in Dublin and in Connemara, including CitySightseeing bus tours, Gray Line Day Tours, the Jeanie Johnston Tallship, Killary Fjord Boat Tours and Dublin Discovered Boat Tours. She brings a passion for travel in Ireland based on first hand visitor experiences of our beautiful country.
When she’s not extolling the virtues of the Emerald Isle in the UK or her European markets, Lydia loves to escape to the countryside for long walks with the dog and enjoys cooking up a storm and testing family and friends’ tolerance for spicy food!

Elina has been working in Travel and Hospitality industry since 2001, as an event management professional. Elina takes pride in representing Ireland as a destination. Originally from Latvia she discovered her passion for travel since her first trip aboard after University.
Elina joined Wallace Travel Group in 2016 after working in top Dublin hotels in the sales & marketing and event management sector and now supports the team. Her role is to run and lead the project on the ground making sure no detail is overlooked.
Elina's spare time is dedicated to her family- she enjoys a walk on one of the stunning Dublin beaches, catching up with friends and exploring new places in Ireland as there is always something new to be discovered on our Emerald Island!

Louise has been working in the Tourism and Hospitality industry since 2006, and graduated from DIT Cathal Brugha Street with a BSC in Hospitality Management. The world of travel & hospitality is a fascinating one and captured Louise since the beginning.
Louise joined Wallace Travel Group in March 2017 after working in top Dublin & Kildare hotels in the sales & event management sector and now supports the team. Her role is to run and lead the project on the ground making sure no detail is overlooked.
In her spare time Louise enjoys long walks with her dog, traveling the word and trying new recipes in the kitchen.

Niamh has been working in tourism and hospitality since 2013, she has worked in a number of areas within the industry such as, providing tourism information in a local tourism office, tour guiding for a number of local Dublin attractions, and sales and marketing for Gray Line Day Tours.
Prior to her move to Wallace Travel Group in 2019, Niamh worked as a as representative for an independent Irish whiskey company in the US where she developed new markets for the brand, generated awareness of Irish whiskey, as well as planning and executing trade shows and events for buyers and consumers.
In her free time Niamh like to travel, she has visited over 20 countries and has plans for many more in the future!

Ciara has worked in the Hospitality and Event Management industry since 2002 and has gained a wealth of experience ranging from 4* and 5* hotels, to the World’s largest automotive brands and International sporting organisations.
She joined Wallace Travel Group in January 2020 and her role is to run and lead the project on the ground making sure no detail is overlooked.
Her passions are solo travel, food, rugby and motorsport. She loves nothing more than flying to amazing places to explore the history, architecture, culture and food whilst getting to know the local people. When at home, she loves to recreate dishes from her travels, go to a rugby match or follow her favourite motorsport events.
