Ireland has so much to offer, so, check out some great incentive travel favourites below, brought to you by Wallace Travel Group, the leading DMC in Ireland.
Please note that the following list is of course not limited to these venues.....Ireland has many more special event locations including suitable entertainment concepts available on request.
Dublin Castle

Dublin Castle is the most prestigious dinner venue in Dublin city. Dublin Castle is owned by the State with the original building being built between 1204 and 1268 and added to for hundreds of years after. Guests enter the court yard and into the main doors, coats are taken and drinks served. Guests are led upstairs to the Throne Room (where English kings & queens received their subjects). Castle guides will escort small parties on tour of the apartments and at the appropriate time the great doors to St. Patrick’s Hall are opened to reveal the impressively set dining venue. Maximum capacity is 200 seated.
The Royal Hospital Kilmainham
The Royal Hospital Kilmainham has functioned on this site since the 17th century. In the 19th century it the residence and headquarters of the commander and chief of the British Army in Ireland and Queen Victoria has paid two visits. The building was handed over to the Free State (eventually the Republic of Ireland) in 1922. Capacity for 200+ with comfort for dinner. We suggest cocktails in the Baroque Chapel and dinner in the Great Hall.
Trinity College
Trinity College was founded by Queen Elizabeth I in 1592 as a university and was for many years the only university in Dublin. Originally it was not open to Catholic students although women could enter from as early as 1903. Famous graduates are the orator Edmund Burke and playwright Oliver Goldsmith, both of whom have fine statues flanking the main entrance. Other notable graduates include Jonathan Swift, Samuel Beckett, Oscar Wilde and Bram Stoker, creator of Dracula. We suggest pre-dinner drinks in the very impressive Long Room of the Old Library, and then stroll across the historic cobbled courtyard to The Dining Hall.
Luttrellstown Castle
A 30 minute transfer outside Dublin city brings us to Luttrellstown Castle. A delightful and charming small castle on extensive grounds. It was built in the 15th century as the family home of the Luttrells family and remained as the family home until 1800. After some years the celebrated Guinness family bought it and in the 1930’s Ernest Guinness gave the castle to his daughter as a wedding gift. It was during her time through to the 50’s that the castle developed more into a manor as she was the hostess of a great many parties. It closed as a private dinner venue for some years as it slowly fell into ‘soft’ decay. Following a careful refurbishment it re-opened very recently for private special events. It can accommodate up to 200 persons over 3 inter-connecting rooms.
The Old Jameson Distillery
Guests enjoy a welcome cocktail on arrival and proceed in small groups on a short guided tour on the process of distillation and the difference between Scotch, Bourbon and Irish whiskey, move into the Sinu Metu suite for a short whiskey tasting and then fine dinner followed by traditional music, song and lively dance. The branded retail outlet can be open or closed as per client’s wishes.
The Guinness Storehouse
Large cavernous venue with wide open spaces, large branded retail store (open or closed as you wish). It is a self-guided walk through the process of brewing and then into the Arrol Suite for dinner. Very versatile venue which can adapt to any and every entertainment module you like. There is the separate venue called Gravity which is on the top of the house with 360 degree panoramic windows. Many clients do take Gravity for pre-dinner drinks and go down to Arrol for dinner & entertainment, but it is not compulsory as both venues have separate hire fees. We have in the past used Gravity for pre-dinner drinks, down to Arrol for dinner and during dinner re-set Gravity into a more nightclub vibe for a private late night club with DJ for the late revellers. In recent times, dinner can now be served in Gravity for groups of up to 80 people. We have also taken over the whole building exclusivly with over 2,000 guests, entertainment & catering on each floor- a very versatile venue!
