It's cool, sleek, 
and modern, decked out in eggplant and black hues to the point that one British newspaper described it as looking like "Dracula's living room." Created from two classically ornate Italianate warehouses designed by William Hastings in the mid-1850s, it manages to offer a kind of cozy sophistication.
Its bold black panelling, purple, aubergine, gold and grey crushed velvet cushions and sofas, it could be described as cosy gothic.
All rooms have flatscreen TV and DVD. More plush darkness creates warmth and atmosphere: crushed red velvet on the beds and gold velvet on the chairs gives a Moulin Rouge chic. The two suites are extreme lush gothic particularly the one with a purple baize pool table. Think rock’n’roll suites.
